- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★This post is stricly in regards to the officer who tagged a driver today. Just got out of the Jaded Toad with a group of friends tonight and was crossing the crosswalk towards the residential area towards the animal hospital. A white truck surpassed the stop sign limit at a accelerated speed while we were in the crosswalk. I noticed this and glanced forward and saw break lights in the darkness. I made out the vehicle and stated this cop is gonna "tag" this guy to the group. I saluted the officer as he passed by me and yelled, "Thank you." He replied, "your welcome!". Not only did this make my night but at the same time it made me reflect on my father's 30 years as CHP and to say the least I'm very proud of this law enforcement officer in comparison to my experiences with Santa Rosa PD. - ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆My granddaughter was in a bad car accident yesterday, 7/18/2017 and the Police officer who, from what I understand's name is Joe, wasn't even going to file a police report as he said" good, less work for me"!!! Fortunately there was witness who was a city official. That police report better be filed!!! The officer wasn't doing his job AT ALL!! Really gives the great Police officers in our country a bad name!!!By Michal Owens, February 21, 2017
